Danica Patrick Is Staying with IndyCar

Danica Patrick is known by everybody. She is an American auto racer, model and spokeswoman. Danica started her racing career very early and became the first woman to win IndyCar race in 2008 Indy Japan 300. Since then she has received several offers from different racing teams and the media was talking about her move to the new American Formula 1 team or joining NASCAR, but she has remained faithful to IndyCar Series by signing a three-year contract with Andretti Green Racing where Patrick has been racing since 2005.

Although Danica has expressed her intensions to stay with the team earlier, she has started considering the contract seriously only now, a month before the season was over. This year the finale of the season for IndyCar takes place at Homestead Miami on October 10.

According to the new contract Danica will be able to take part in the NASCAR in a limited way, so fans might expect Patrick competing in the Camping World Truck Series, Nationwide Series and ARCA events. However, her main goal is still IndyCar: Patrick openly says that she wants to become the first woman to win the Indianopolis 500.
