Lee Iacocca Silver 45th Anniversary Edition Ford Mustang

Lee Iacocca was one of America’s most famous pitchmen. American auto industry is desperate to find a person like him now to help them from sinking like Mr. Iacocca did in 1980’s when Chrysler was about to file bankruptcy.
In the 1970’s Lee Iacocca was a leader of Ford, although he has been working with the company much earlier than this. Forty five years ago Iacocca being a young Ford executive has launched the first Mustang at the 1964 New-York World Fair. He was also the one who insisted on making Mustang smaller in 1974, because with the time pony car was growing in size, but not in sales. For these two reasons Lee Iacocca was named the godfather of Mustang.
In appreciation of his great work, Ford has decided to make special limited 45th anniversary edition of the Mustang in Lee Iacocca’s name. The car will be based on the 2009 Mustang platform which will recall some features from classic 60’s Mustangs. The manufacturer will offer a choice of 320-horsepower 4.6-liter V8 or 400-hp supercharger. The limited car will be equipped with Ford Racing handling package.
On the inside Mustang is covered in leather: diamond-design leather seats with embroidery stitching and leather wrapped steering wheel. Iacocca-badged sill plates and signature dash plaque with serial number will distinguish this Mustang from others.
