New Car Keys Take Care of Teens

Ford introduced new type of car keys which provide additional parents’ care features for cars. Each key can be equipped with own program to limit car’s speed or stereo volume.

New MyKey system will be added as standard to 2010 ford Focus and then to many Mercury, Lincoln and Ford models. As Focus is the most affordable vehicle in Ford’s lineup and it is presented to teens more often than other vehicles it will be equipped with this system in the first turn.
Here is the full list of systems offered by MyKey^

•    An early low-fuel warning
•    Limits top speed to 80 mph
•    44% limiting of total Stereo volume
