BMW M Division Celebrates Double Anniversary

30 years ago the first BMW bearing tri-color marking was launched and introduced as M1. 300,000 cars of M-mark have been produced since that time. In 2007 M-models made up 1% of all BMWs sold that year and anniversary 300,000th M3 Coupe of alpine white color belongs to a gentleman living in the East Bavarian hamlet of Regensburg, mother-town of the model.

E30, the M3 original version, is considered to be the most legendary M vehicle. Later this version has morphed into current V8-powered car available in Convertible, Coup or Sedan versions. It seems that talented combination of art and science together with high performance engineering characteristic of M models is endless and limitless.
