1982 CHP Mustang is For Sale

The patrol fleet of Indiana state police was equipped with new unmarked Mustang GTs and this news made me a little sad. There is a special site SSPMustang.org created by Mustang enthusiasts an dedicated to the 1982 - 1993 Special Service Package Mustangs. The site contains a lot of interesting information regarding Mustangs, old and new.

For instance in the category “For sale” you can find the 1982 California Highway Patrol SSP 5.0L (you can see it on the picture) which belongs to Mike Riley, SSPMustang.org webmaster, who now is selling his car. As you can see the vehicle was completely restored – here you can even listen to “E” plates or the period-correct radios. The site also contains the history of the car and a few larger photos of it. Mike Riley asks $11,500 for his CHP, so if you want you can easily make it yours.
