The World is Waiting for Two Lexus Hybrid Models
It is already well-known that at the next Detroit Auto Show Toyota is going to represent its third generation Prius hybrid sedan. This model which will be electric motors and powered by enlarged and enforced 1.8-liter engine has been designed to confirm the Toyota’s hybrid leadership, at least for the next few years.
It is expected that Lexus will produce its luxurious variant of the Prius. According to Inside Line the car will be launched in 2010 and it will become the first hybrid using lithium ion batteries made by Toyota. Lexus will be the second hybrid-only model based on the architecture of the Toyota’s mid-size sedan. The first model is the current RX, available in both hybrid and standard versions.
