New Infiniti FX Cleans the Air Inside its Own Cabin

A new system of air-cleaning will be installed in redesigned infinity’s crossover. The feature called Plasmacluster Filtration will ionize and deionize air inside the cabin removing any olfactory offenders. In the result we get a car that can clean its own air itself.
Plasmacluster Filtration has two settings: Clean Mode is designed to emit ions and remove various particles from the air. At the same time the interior is flooded with negative ions creating the frost-air freshness you can feel after a rainstorm.

The system has passed a battery of tests including smoking in the car and leaving not fresh food inside. According to spokesman Kyle Bazemore the system is able to reduce allergens. At the same time owing to the unique technology Plasmacluster just cleans the air and not covers one smell with another.
Toyota Camry is also equipped with the same air-cleaning system. The systems are manufactured by Sharp Electronics – the company which produces everything, from TV-sets to plasmacluster. In 2009 FX50 the system will come as standard and in future under the condition of its success at the market, the system will be installed in other models.
