Honda NSX is Expected to Start RWD Model Range
It was expected that Honda would represent its next generation NSX at the Tokyo Motor Show lst year. However because of very cold public’s reception the Advanced Sports Car concept at the Detroit show, the automaker’s designers returned to their drawing board, redesigned the front clip housing the 550 horsepower, 4.5-liter V10 engine.

According to one of Honda’s insiders the NSX will be represented at the Tokyo show in 2009 and the production of the car will start in the fall of 2010.

It is supposed that this car will be the beginning of Honda’s rear-wheel-drive vehicles production as a respond to Infiniti, Mercedes, BMW and Lexus and will be made on the basis of a new platform.

This platform will also be used in S2000-based Acura sports car to rival the Mercedes SLK and in the Acura’s larger sedan offerings.

It is expected that Acura’s 7-series fighter will be launched only in 2015 and it would be very good for Honda to develop and launch its concept as soon as possible.
