Will Ford Develop RWD Platform in the United States?

On Monday the Detroit News announced that Ford is going to develop its own RWD platform in the USA. But Ford’s representatives say that it is too early to speculate on that. The reason of this situation is the fact that currently dollar does not hold as it used to.

However the idea to develop own RWD platform is rather sensible particularly, taking into account the fact that underpinnings of Falcon is not able to turn the controls from port to starboard.
