Hyundai is Raising Prices for its New Models
The new 2009 Hyundai Sonata has got a lot of changes for its interior and power plant, and that’s why its South Korean creator wants to be paid for all these innovations. So a new model will be $1,650 more expensive than the previous 2008 model.

Less expensive are the bottom models of Hyundai lineup – their price has increased for only $700 added to the previous prices of $18,795, or $19,995 with new five-speed automatic transmission.

The decision of the automaker regarding the base Sonata which is now $75 more than a base 2009 Camry seems to be rather odd.
The Chevy Malibu which price was increase for $700 has won North American Car of the Year.

Having increased the prices of its models for seven percent average the company is currently losing its favorable positions on auto markets. However it is clear for most of experts that the company is banking on American potential buyers with its better quality and improved refinement.
