New Mercedes Models at Geneva Auto Show
Mercedes is coming to Geneva motor show with no less than five new models!!!

Why so many? The reason is clear. While in the USA four big auto shows take place annually - Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago and New York – in Europe they have only two remarkable auto events every year – in Geneva and in Frankfurt or Paris. That’s why there is no wonder that the big European automakers try to represent themselves in full force and, of course, and Mercedes is no exception.

Mercedes is intending to represent the newly updated SL-Class roadster ranging from six to twelve cylinder engines. SLK, its kid brother, has already been represented in Detroit. It will also be present in Geneva with its facelift on. For the first time since the new entry-level CLC was shown at the Berlin fashion show it will be on display along with the updated CLS four-door coupe.

But what is the fifth model which is going to be represented in Geneva under the three-pointed star? It is the CL500 4MATIC.
4MATIC is the term which stands for all-wheel-drive. For the first time it is finding its way to the big GT. the vehicle’s curb weight of the latest version was increased only for 70 kg (154 lbs.) This is relative to its current weight as a drop in the ocean. The car can smoothly accelerate to 100 km\h in 5.4 seconds. At the same time the engineers managed to preserve the existing fuel consumption.
