Renault and AvtoVaz – Profitable Partnership

As we know Carlos Ghosn is always looking for profitable partnership which can strengthen Renault positions on the markets. The next his partner after Nissan and Chrysler he has found in Russia. Ghosn considers that partnership with AvtoVaz, that company which, as you know is famous for its Lada, is very promising. The deal maker thinks that Russia will have the hottest auto markets in the next two years so such a wise person as Carlos Ghosn is booking his place at the time.

AvtoVaz will represent to Renault a 25-percent stake. The main goal of Renault representatives is cost-cutting issues and improved technologies. Still AvtoVaz remains Russian company as most of its shareholders are national and one of them is the State. But this does not prevent the company involve one of the world best men in auto business. Besides currently both companies are discussing the possibility of assembling Meganes and Logans in Russia.
If Carlos Ghosn is right, as always, and Russia really becomes a reliable and profitable partner, who knows, perhaps soon we’ll have a chance to hit the road on a Lada GT-R?
