Aston Martin is Opening a New Testing Shop in May 2008
As it usually takes much time and efforts to test cars at the Nürburgring, for instance, Aston Martin is intending to build a permanent testing shop here and equip it with the best possible equipment and engineering facilities.
The existing structure already belongs to the famous automaker and currently it is being rebuilt and prepared for May 2008 opening. All last Aston Martin models go through a long shakedown on the track.
The company considers having their own testing shop next to the Nordschleife to be a very wise step. This will allow turning plain car testing into a show which in its turn will prove to potential buyers that Aston Martin models are really the most reliable cars in the world. This statement, however, does not need to be proved. It is a fact.
The company loves the track and that’s why it was used as the inspiration for its new road car - V8 Vantage N400.
The new testing centre also gives an idea of how an idea and perfect modern testing shop should look like.
