Satellite Radio Receivers are no more popular

During winter holidays the level of satellite radio receivers’ sales has fallen considerably. XM had the worst situation with its sales down 41%,. The same happened to Sirius who suffered 36% losses. These losses are really huge

Perhaps the reason is that nowadays most cars come with built-in satellite radio receivers. There are, however, other factors that enplane such sales plummet.  They are the expensive subscription rates, poor programming and mass use of MP3, of course.

Still both carriers are planned to be manufactured but it seems that the demand is so low that they will hardly manage to be a success.
