New 2009 VW Passat CC
Trying to compete with luxury automakers a few years ago VW introduced its PHAETON. This year the company has the same aim and is going to represent new Passat CC. this is going to be a four-door coupe with a roofline like that of the Mercedes CLS. The new car will be 1.5 inches longer and a bit wider.

It is not clear now to what class the newcomer will belong. The company says that its driving dynamics makes the car applicable foe sporting ride. However still we know almost nothing about those qualities which will allow make the new VW better than VW Passat.
The newcomer will be equipped with a standard six-cylinder sedan engine. New Volkswagen will have a lot of technological gadgets, for example, Dynamic Drive Control - an adjustable suspension system. By the way soon this system will be an option in the USA. However the systems like this are usually almost useful in everyday driving.
As a part of option package the car will be provided with a park assist system. It will help the car get into the parking spot by means of cameras, software and sensors, like those of new Lexus LS.

This system turns the steering wheel itself fitting a car into a spot. The driver needs only to accelerate and brake during the maneuver. There is also a Lane Assist Program which will prevent the car from turning into a lane it shouldn’t. All-wheel drive is also available in the new VW.

Speaking about the price, it is still not defined for CC. but we know it will be from $20 000 to $40 000 depending on the equipment and systems available. Still this is approximately $20 000 less than the price of self-parking Lexus LS460.
