The Ugliest Car Ever Built
Long ago in the 1950s a priest, father Alfred Juliano with the help of his parishioners created his own design of the vehicle which was expected to be “the safest car ever built”. According to this design the priest built the car which was called Aurora. It looked rather oddly, more like a sea ray rather than a vehicle.
Father Juliano was not a mad pries fond of cars. He had a passion, cars were his hobby and by the way, before entering the priesthood he studied art for a long time. He carried out a long and hard work and created the concept of the safest world vehicle built on the basis of an old Buick chassis.
The body of the vehicle was made of fiberglass with plexiglass used for daylight openings.

However when the automaker represented his brainchild to press it was a disaster. Aurora has brought to its creator nothing but financial problems so he had to give up and leave the project.
To settle a debt the car was sent to a garage and there afterwards it was found by England’s Andy Saunders. Aurora has attracted Audy’s attention. It was a hard work to revive the vehicle but all is well that ends well.
After restoration Aurora has taken part in many auto events and has been exhibited in such museums as Goodwood.
