Can You Buy a New Truck with Only a Pocket Change?
His last truck Paul Brant, 70 years old, bought 13 years ago. Since that time he has been saving pocket change for his new truck. He got it on Friday and gave for the car $26,670 – all in dollar coins and rolled quarters. The authorities of the state provided Paul with guard and they escorted him to Mike Raisor Dodge. There Paul bought a 2008 half-ton 4X4 Dodge Ram and paid for it half a ton of rolled coins.

The sellers, of course, appreciated the fact Paul has proffered their truck to all other models. However they had a headache as coins presented a big problem. Banks didn’t want to accept them. To get the coins to the bank they had to use a Loomis armored vehicle.

Mr. Brant, as it turned out, is as thrifty as his father. May be it is a family tradition to buy cars with pocket change only? Brant told us that his father used to take all his family on vacations with money saved in such a strange way.
By the way for his previous truck Paul paid with all the quarters he had managed to save up for 23 years.

New Dodge Neon for his wife he also bought for pennies, dimes and nickels.
