2007 Audi Cross Cabriolet Quattro Concept
On the photo it is clearly seen that the two-door, four-seat concept combines sport-ute traits with a convertible body. Just what the name indicates.

The concept has a six-cylinder turbodiesel engine with 240 horsepower. A version of Audi’s new 3.0-liter turbodiesel six, the new engine? is equipped? with an ultra-low emission system using urea aftertreatment. Thia corresponds absolutely to European standards up to the year 2014.

The engine of a new concept is provided with a? Tiptronic eight-speed automatic. Audi? sprints a 0-60 mph time of less than 7.2 seconds.? Quattro all-wheel-drive system of Audi is of course? under the Cross Cabriolet’s skin.

It is set up to push torque to the wheels in a 40/60 front-rear split. Driven in extreme circumstances the system can? offer 65 percent of available torque to the front wheels, or 85 percent to the rears. Adjustable shocks and ride height are baked into the all-road gear, and derived in part from the applications found in the current Q7 SUV. The body of a new concept was taken from modern A4/A5 architecture. The same is expected to be with the next A6 too.
The vehicle is 181.9 inches long. Its wheelbase is 110.6-inch, and it rides 64.2 inches tall.

Audi? offers “unbeatable” head and leg room for the passengers sitting back. The? car is able to ? turn into cabriolet and vice verse in 17 seconds. The lid itself folds in a Z-shape that makes for a compact top stack. This makes it much more lightweight than a usual folding hardtop might be.
The body of the car is performed in Copper Sunset paint which uses reinforced A-pillars and pop-up rollover bars. This allows ? to keep? passengers safe in a crash. From the face, the Cross Cabriolet neatly corresponds to the current Audi image as it has a large grille frame and LED headlamps and daytime running lights.

The car is equipped with big 21-inch wheels with 35-series tires. Inside the car is equipped with some features not typical for a German-branded car. They? include heated and cooled cupholders, Bang & Olufsen audio, integrated Google Earth software for navigation,

and intercoms for communication between passengers in top-down mode.
